Maths

Today in maths we   dis this sheet that is adding multiples of 100 up to 1,000 and   there we're  triangles one number is missing  you have to fill it in and make sure it is up to 1,000 like 400 and 400 and 200 makes 1,000.  Here is the photo of the sheet!!

Sumner beach,Surfing 2019!!

 Hey reader's. On Friday the year 6's and year 5's went surfing.  it was boggy bording and surf bords. boggy bording was very fun like the surf bords   and i catched a big wave and i got to the shaw it was so fun  and  it was the best at Sumner beach and it was deap and cold but we had swimming suits on so it wasn't cold for us and we had to wear a pink vest because we were in teams i was in boggy bording and the other one was surf bord the green team it was reallly fun with the boggy bord because it was easy. When I wen't to the surf bords it was really hard to try and stand up on the surf bored  and then the other people went boggy bording, and the surf bords once we were done

Making a hawk In literacy.

In literacy I made a hawk in a goggle drawing and  my hawk is a small one.  and I have facts about the hawk. The facts are He can fly, he has grey wings, he has white aye's, he has spiked tail, and he has a strong beak. And it was hard to make the hawk and the wings. By Lukas!

Regulation of the yellow zone, red zone and the blue zone, green zone.

In, inquiry we did our zones of regulation and  we did a goggle drawing.
We had to write  what they might be thinking  and they might say, others might be thinking, others might feel.  And I did them, they are the red zone, the blue zone, green zone and the yellow zone.
They might be  angry or mad, they might be ready to learn or happy, they might be sick of tired,they might be worried or silly.

Making a coconut tree

In litarcay we had to make a coconut tree for the coconut crab , and I made one to and this is mine ;), and I got coconut´s on it aswell. And I made branches on the tree.

Cat and the animals

In Math strand me and R.J made This pitcure and we had to pare the animal's and we has to write what they are like black spot's. and me and R.J had to glue them on the yellow paper.

Learning about Space.

Hey Reader's.

In writing we are learning about space and i'm doing the sun and here is my writing.

The  sun is a boiling hot star that it could burn your eyes and it could burn your device on fire if you leave it near the sun and it’s the hottest star. You might get sunburn on you and it will hurt so much if u go in the water and it will sting. Hot niss is very hot and it might burn your eyes and you might get a yellow ball in your eyes and it might POP in your eyes. If you like staring at the sun and you might get blind and you won't be able to look anywhere you will have to get glass to see where you're going. If the sun is in your eyes look away so u don't get blind then you will be able to see. If your blind you might fall over then you might walk into someone. THE END!!!!

The seven stars of matariki-maths

We looked  at a photo  of the seven stars of martariki. we talked about polygons. polygons are shapes . circle we had to use the position of the stars to create different shapes . the most simple polygon I made was  the circle. the most complex or different polygon I made  was rectangle.

Arrays

In math's we have learning to solve multiplication problems by using repeated addition or our times tables. Mrs McGuinniety  gave us a sheet with smiley faces on it and we had to cut them up into rectangles. We has then had to work out how many faces there were in each one using repeated addition or times tables.

 in writing today we learnt how to make a poem that is called haiku poem and it was about jack frost it is so easy.

It’s icy  outside

Because it feels like cold ice and it looks like snow outside and then it got even more colder and it look like icy snow cloud then its was so cold on my legs. When i was coming to school i saw a icy pudill with ice all over it. It was covering the pudill and i wanted to step on it .

Going on a bear hunt maths-directions

In math we are learning about directions. we listen to the story there were obstacles. we placed out the   in the story. we than drew the map  of the story. we had to carefully think about it . Then we had to write directions  from the house to the cave . we had to use' north south east west.

Balicing

At class we learnt how to blacing we did u on the playground and it was hard to do it on the playground and i lost it then i got a new try then i nearly made it but i failed it was soo hard to do it then we cepped trying it and we did lots of blacing games for PE and we finished the blacing on the playgroud but is was fun then we went back to class then we did our blogging and then we are dun.

In maths we are learning about  coordinates . we learnt that you say the letter first then the number . Our map was about the story Little red riding hood. we had to do 2 things. first we had to say the coordinates for a picture . Second we had to draw pictures in certain places.

a pidgin WANTED!

A pigeon wanted because he stole  a bag and he was shooting a guy with the bag it had a lazer gun in the bag  and a rocket because the pigeon  was in the bag and he is WANTED now you see my wanted poster now he will be i jail  hopefully i don´t know if he will be in jail ???  and if you have him i will give you 999,999,999,999 dollars then i will put him in jail for ever. 

once upon time there was a ninja

Once upon a time there was Ninja. it lives in a Treehouse. his talent is when he loses a fight with skills.he is scared of monsters .because he is very scared of them .

if he sees a Mouse he will run away.

This week in whiting we wrote a six sentence story about creating a character and adding detail . Our fows was on crating senteare . we learnt that the four crltenia of a sentence are 1.2.3.4.5.6.

 This is about Kindness and  Kindness is say hello to people. and make them Smile. 

The Dragon breathes flames and the boy holds a rock with a humongous fork and there's other boythere and the dragon is blue and green😃....

Hokey

Today we had peter from the Canterbury and we played hockey and we learnt to dribble and  the dribble was hard and  it was fun. We learnt how to hold the hockey stick and it was so much fun then we did the game like Rob The Nest and it was really fun. then we learnt how to Stop the ball .😃 then we Finish it Then we Went back to class and this is me in the photo. THE END!!!😃.
