100 word challenge
in hurumanu we did a hundred word challenge and here is mine is down below
There is a fire on the hills in australia there is a man holding a hose and he's trying to put out the fire, when it hit him, the flames are so big that it's night time that you can see the smoke, you can see sparks, and he could put a bit a fire out on the hills. There are firefighters. It's really dark at night and there’s a fire and they couldn't put it out in 5 hours because it was such a big/small fire, and it kept going everywhere when they tried to put it out after 5 hours.

HHS 2021
Hi in this year in Hornby High School, we were doing lots of fun stuff this year , and in wananga we were doing mindfulness drawings, in hurumanu this term in November were doing health and writing and school was not that fun because school is really boring sometimes and it was fun too, we got to make speakers in like term 1 or 2 and they were bluetooth,
in DVC we made signs.

blind - fold tatse testing
Equipment
Samples 1-9
Blindfold glasses
Recording chart
Ice cream stick taster
Method:
Get safety glasses and make a blinfold.
Set up your chart and make sure that the person you are working with knows
where to record your responses.
Using an ice-cream stick you will dip it into the Sample. Once the sample
is on the stick you will taste
it and tell your partner your response.
There will be 2 Answers.
At taste test one you need to hold your nose.
Answer 1. Is it sweet, sour, salty, bitter. Record it.
Answer 2. What do you think it is. Record it.
Repeat this for the next samples but you will only need to use your ice cream
stick taster
for samples 1-4.

bacteria
Equipment:
Agar dish
Cotton bud swab
Vivid pen
Collect the bacteria on a cotton bud swab from taps, computer keyboards or desks.
Divide the agar in half by drawing a line open the lid.
Wipe the swab onto the agar solution.
Put the petri dish into the incubator for 1 week to allow the bacteria to grow.
Draw and label a bacteria.
Draw and label a scientific diagram of the experiment.
