Sleep And Excercise.

Sleeep and exercise read below!

Hello there so in health in hurumanu we are learning about sleep and exercise, and i have some food you could do, its my menu that i did with my friend, and when you scroll down you can see more writing.

 1. healthy food for teenagers.

Monday:



Breakfast:

Weet-bix

Yoghurt, milk and fruit smoothie

Banana.





Morning tea:

Protein Bar

Cheese and crackers 

Mandarin

Glass of water.





Lunch:



Afternoon tea:

Pineapple

Kiwi Fruit

Protein bar

Green tea.





Dinner:

Glass of milk

Salad

Whole grain sandwich.Fried eggs on whole grain toast.

Glass of orange juice

Apple

Glass of water.



2. Sleep - - how much? why?
For sleep as a teenager you sleep up to 8-10 hours, or less if you want to wake up earlier. if you wake up like 5 in the morning and you went to sleep at 10 at night that is 8 hours, if you go to bed at 12 and wake up at 7 thats kind of good that is 7 hours but you can go bed at anytime you want it you dont have a bedtime set.

When you do exercise your heart beats fast and it gets bigger when you do lots of exercise and your heart is actually a muscle!
and when you do lots of running or biking and you get warm its your muscles pumping.
and you can excersise as much as you want, if you want to, and if you exercise alot then you breathe faster.




This is a healthy vegatable salad.

100 word challenge

 in hurumanu we did a hundred word challenge and here is mine is down below 

There is a fire on the hills in australia there is a man holding a hose and he's trying to put out the fire, when it hit him, the flames are so big that it's night time that you can see the smoke, you can see sparks, and he could put a  bit a fire out on the hills. There are firefighters. It's really dark at night and there’s a fire and they couldn't put it out in 5 hours because it was such a big/small fire, and it kept going everywhere when they tried to put it out after 5 hours.

HHS 2021

Hi  in this year in Hornby High School, we were doing lots of fun stuff this year , and in  wananga we were doing mindfulness drawings, in  hurumanu this term in November were doing health and writing and school was not that fun because  school is really boring sometimes and it was fun too, we got to make speakers in like term 1 or 2 and they were bluetooth,

in DVC we made signs.Rebeltec SoundBox 460 Bluetooth Speaker with RGB - 40W RMS

blind - fold tatse testing

Equipment

  1. Samples 1-9

  2. Blindfold glasses

  3. Recording chart

  4. Ice cream stick taster

Method:

  1. Get safety glasses and make a blinfold.

  2. Set up your chart and make sure that the person you are working with knows

  3. where to record your responses.

  4. Using an ice-cream stick you will dip it into the Sample. Once the sample

  5. is on the stick you will taste

  6. it and tell your partner your response.

  7. There will be 2 Answers.

  8. At taste test one you need to hold your nose.

Answer 1. Is it sweet, sour, salty, bitter. Record it.

Answer 2. What do you think it is. Record it.

  1. Repeat this for the next samples but you will only need to use your ice cream
